The 1.75U keycaps are located on the left-hand Caps Lock key of mechanical keyboards, and some keyboards also use the 1.75U size for the right-hand Shift keycaps. However, the two keycap sizes differ in height.
The 1.75U keycaps have more surface area, allowing for greater customization; they can accommodate anime, virtual YouTubers, and game characters.
Custom 1.75U keycaps are also available, along with stepped keycaps.
